Pre-empt the Regime
Stop the Project for the New American Century
The war in Iraq is both unjust and ill-advised. The concept of a pre-emptive attack is un-American. We, as a nation, have spent a couple of centuries developing a reputation for helping the world’s people and supporting just causes. We are good people. We are not the world’s biggest bully.
The concept of pre-emptive war comes from The Bush Regime's Project for the New American Century (PNAC). This is a plan developed long ago by the chicken hawks turned warmongers currently in control of the White House. These men do not represent America or American values. They are ruining our relations with the rest of the world, alienating most of our closet allies.
One of the basic tenets of the PNAC plan is to keep America in a continuous state of war through a series of re-emptive wars. This Nazi-like plot also includes taking control of the world’s oil supplies and energy resources. The plan to attack Iraq was made years ago. The missing weapons of mass destruction were just an excuse. Bush and Co. also mistakenly utilized the 9/11 terrorist attacks as an excuse to implement their agenda.
The PNAC laid out its agenda in June 1997 while the group was out of power during the Clinton administration. The document was signed by twenty five people, including such Bush cronies as Elliott Abrams, Bill Bennett, Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, Steve Forbes, Aaron Friedberg, Lewis Libby, Dan Quayle, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz.
In September 2000 the group produced a report for Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, and Lewis Libby entitled Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century. The Sunday Herald referred to the report as a "blueprint for U.S. world domination."
Bush continues to claim Iraq is a war against terrorism. It's a lie --- it’s propaganda. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. Even Bush has admitted this. Bush prematurely backed off from the effort in Afghanistan, where the terrorists actually operate, before achieving our goals there. As a result, terrorism is flourishing. Iraq was totally illogical.
These people are not only misdirected, they are obstinate, arrogant, vindictive and refuse to accept blame for their failures while they have failed at every turn. They have repeatedly lied and deliberately deceived the American people in order to implement their agenda.
This nation is in a crisis. George Bush and his administration have failed at every turn of his presidency and it's not just a matter of poor judgment. The people behind Bush have a hidden agenda (detailed in the PNAC) which they plan to implement if he is elected to a second term. Bush is merely a puppet, a front man for the back-room boys who are wielding the real power.
Bush remains embarrassingly dim-witted. He is truly uninformed and doesn't go so far as to read the daily papers to form a personal opinion on current events. He merely attends cabinet meetings and makes his "decisions" according to the recommendations of the members of his organization. He's at their mercy and even if he really tried to do something for the good of the country and its people he lacks the ability.
His main role in the White House is to lead the re-election campaign, raise the funds needed to accomplish this goal and act as the front man for the organization. Cheney is generally considered to be in charge of the real decisions.
George W. Bush has failed at every turn of his presidency and needs to be removed from office for the good of America. He has consistently proven himself to be incompetent in the position of president. He has risked countless lives and untold billions of taxpayers dollars on an ill-planned, misdirected war to combat terrorism by attacking the wrong country. He does not represent the traditional values of this country.
Every bill he pushes through Congress seems to have an ulterior motive: the tax bill only benefited the rich; the Medicare Bill benefits the insurance industry instead of retired people; the Energy bill is a scam to eliminate environmental restrictions so Bush's cronies in the energy and oil industry can reap larger profits. He has declared war on the environment .
This election is crucial. The future of America is in our hands.
Throw the Bums out! Vote against Bush in November!
